帮我看看：这样到底是双语还是英语？？

我去读数学国际课程master,
daad网页上说是双语（1年英，第2年德）
但系主任回信说：
No, you do not need a German certificate. You can write your thesis in
English and take the exams in English. There will be enough courses in
English so that you can do all of your mathematics in English. You
might need German for the Minor (which you can do in the second year).

It is practical, though, to learn some German: the job market is
bigger for those who can speak some German.

既然thesis, exam和all of your mathematics都 in English了，
除了那个minor（还是you might need ??)，这样看来是算双语还是英语的？？

入学不需要任何德语，第二年的·副修·专业可能使用德语。建议学学德语，至少要能基本看得懂文章。

呵呵,应该算是英语课程了,因为我学的就是英语课程,不过好像你的英语的要求和我的也一样了

不过建议就算只用到英语,也应该把德语学好,你的教授说得太对了.

并非如此

一般master可选课的自由度比较大，我认识的读双语的，尽量不选德语课，万不得已选了，可是也是用的英语，master的口试较多，无所谓用什么语言，只要能答出来，教授明白就行。很多双语的学生就算到毕业，德语顶多一个中级水平，想在一两年内把德语学好，是很天真的，其实考过dsh和说很好的德语，差着十万八千里呢？
