The Film and Television University "Konrad Wolf" (HFF), which was founded in 1954 as the German Film Academy, is not only the only arts academy in the German Land of Brandenburg, but also the oldest, yet at the same time one of the most modern and largest, film academies in Germany. Thanks to its location directly on the grounds of the renowned and world-famous Studio Babelsberg, the HFF has become an integral part of the Potsdam-Babelsberg media centre, which is unique in Europe. The trinity of film education, film production and film distribution that has developed and is available at this location has an unrivalled form and offers an attractive and international educational setting. Students at the HFF can make the most of a modern teaching and studio building and excellent supervision from internationally renowned teaching staff and service-oriented administrative staff, as well as a family-friendly university environment. |
