ask a question to those who have been in deutschland

the professor have told me as following :
"hank you very much for you kind message and the proposal draft. i will carefully read it and get back to with suggestions in beginning of january. ...along with my feedback to your proposal, i will also send you an offer letter and a recomendation that the successful project will lead to a ph.d.. "

however, i have not reveived his reply.

therefore i want to ask you when will your holiday finish?

and is there any hope to receive the offer letter?

and what should i do?

i will not spend a happy spring festival without the professor's response----what ever the result is, i just want to knoe his attitude.

you can simply send a letter to him and ask for the evaluation result. If he has not evaluated it at all, you may ask for a favor, let him read your proposal as soon as possible. you can tell him you are eager to study in Germany , a strong motivation to make the project sucessfully........bla,bla,bla
but do not give him a feeling that you are forcing him to do something. ok, dude pay more patience, that is the way they are treating things.

谢谢漂泊人生啊。
我是担心他会不会觉得我的研究计划不够好就不要我了；或者他还在度假；我知道德国人做事好像很慢的，还有个念头就是说不定明天就受到教授的信了，所以始终没有写信打扰他。
因为快过年了，我还等教授的推荐信，好赶在2月15号之前把材料寄出的。
如果已经开学，相信他一定很忙的，所以我真的很不想麻烦他。这样教授会反感的哦。
既然你给出建议问一下，那我就决定这么做拉。

呵呵，不客气，你正常的询问他们事不会不耐烦的，不像国内有的教授，水平不匝地，脾气还牛X的不行。恩，有的时候他们处理事挺慎重的，按部就班的，比较慢。在这个过程中你是有权利询问的，一般也会得到解答，来读博士，开学的时间并不重要，伸缩性很大，所以耐心点没问题。

其实真的像漂泊人生说的那样，过了个圣诞教授真的忘记了，若不是受到提点，都不知要等到何时了。
托您吉言，我的research project 通过了教授的评阅，他对我的申请奖学金之路表示全力的支持。
现在只有加油了
