Nice atmosphere here!
I am doing master program in Germany too and one whole year passed since I arrived at Frankfurt on 22nd August last year. It is the first time surfing here, and communication and words here, insightful and pure, attracted me very much. I have to say you won't meet so many friends here, modest and honest and also with a very excellent previous acadamic performance, compared with most of those who are for diplom in Germany. (I do not mean to hurt anybody who is for Diplom. It is just the truth. I show the respects to those students for Diplom who manage a good balance between study and finanical aids. We know it is a not easy job) Okay, come back to my friends in the international courses. I do hope everyone here won't be disappointed with the real life in Germany although you will.  I read all of the words appearing in this topic. I am convinced that everyone here has a very strong brief on how to get a good acadamic record and how to better your skills to get a easy life wherever you are. Actually, I am so happy that there will be so nice and good guys around me who share with the same goals with me. I am a small and normal guy but wanna improve myself every day.
To Frankliu, my family live nearby Jiaoda and I often go there playing soccer in the summer holidays. So sweet memory. However, it is just because of such a short distance to Jiaoda I chose to Shanghai for my college education. Hehe, or we are alumi(wrong word).
To eboy, you can switch the program. I am one of the case. First I was doing a master in Stuttgart. I stayed there 2 month and found it very boring then I transfered to Kaiserslautern for the math, master program too( and I changed the major too).
To all, one year passing, I think I should know sth about this country. Please feel free to contact with me when you encounter any problem.
Finally, enjoy the final time at home.
