no i am not a student anymore, since i have worked in europe for nearly two years.
yes, as you have said the experience of applicant was the most important part which HR manager considered. but as what i have mentioned above, compared to engineering science, economics is a different case. because social science like economics or administration is very abstract, it's very hard to show the hr manager what you have done during an internship.
for most students studying in social sciences,
training managers really dont care what you have learned during schooling, but what they concerned is your ability and personality. generally speaking, they believe students graduated from a well-renowned university has a strong ability in learning new stuff and get better trained in many other aspects.
as far as i know, students did their placement in big business consulting companies or marketing department of international corporations are very popular. usully those companies can let them follow a project, from which they can learn how to cooperate with people and how to write a report or give a presentation in correct way. |
