求助:误闯德国

事情是这样的。我到捷克留学，因为听说捷克加入了申根，所以当有朋友邀我一起旅行时没多想就答应了。但是在捷德边境却被扣留，说我的签证并未申跟是D而非C，因此做出的处罚是一年内不准进入德国。我想一旦这个判罚成立，我估计哪都去不了，因为等于留下了污点。当时边境警察局说，如果我回捷克申诉，那么这个判罚有撤消的可能。我想请问大家，我接下来该如何补救？

我都快愁死了。今天到德国驻捷使馆询问，他们说应该给所在的边境法院写信。我对于这种公函性质的信件一点都没有经验。现在写了封英文版的申请，但是不知道是否可以。

Last Sunday (3.2.2008) I traveled to Germany by bus and planned to stay there for 4 days with my friend from Taiwan. When I went through the border between Czech Republic and Germany, I was arrested in Chemnitz and told that my visa is not valid for to travel to Germany because it is type D but not type C. I never thought about this difference between visa types and nobody told me that there is a difference between these visa types. I thought I have been told that my visa should be enough. Even the government of China said that Chinese people who live in Czech Republic are allowed travel to any Schengen agreement country with their visas. Before I left from China, I asked the clerk of Czech Republic’s embassy in China if I am allowed to visit the Schengen agreement countries with my visa. They answered me, that of course it is possible to travel to any Schengen agreement country after December. At that time I only thought that I would have a chance to realize my dream.

I come from China and I am an exchange student in Czech Republic, Czech Technical University (CTU) Prague. My major is architecture and that is because I would need to visit splendid buildings in Germany. I think that learning to how to design is dependant on studying buildings rather than reading books. It is important for me that I can visit the buildings myself. Germany is one of the countries which began the modern architectural style in the later 19th century and many excellent architects had their workings there. I have looked forward to it for long time.

I will never forget the night I have experienced when I was treated just like a prisoner though I only made a mistake. They told me that it will blur my record and I couldn’t go into Germany in the next year. Of course I made a mistake but it is not deliberate. I should have payed more care for the detail of the Schengen agreements before I traveled but I overlooked it. In fact, I really didn’t know. My many Chinese friends in Prague went to other countries such as France, Italy with the same visas I have. They all traveled safely and did not have any problems. I thank you that I was treated fairly in Chemnitz but I think this punishment is too hard for me, and I want to know if you can give me a chance to make it up. I appeal to set aside the decision.

I am writing my graduation thesis under my professor’s tutor regarding the schoolhouse of Bauhaus in Dessau which was designed by one of the most famous modern architects, Gropius. My Thesis’s theme is hard to change, so I would really need to go to Germany again. Trouble is that I have no much time left here in Europe. Is there any possibility to solve this problem in days? I hope there is someway to make it possible for me to visit Germany again soon.
