- Fill in the application form, sign it.
- Attach legally attested copies of your certificates since secondary school,
translated in German, English or French.
- if available: certified copies of your previous studies at home country with
summery of courses and marks, also translated
- legally attested certification of German knowledge
- corrospondence address, 4 international response coupons


2. Information about Dresden, halls of residence, student's life

3. Hints for Chinese applicants

Chinese applicants who are still in China or who are attending a language
course in Germany - please take note!
The original "Certificate of the German Embassy" (known as the APS) must
be included with your application.
If not your application can not be considered.
Your application for the "APS" and your Visa application should be sent to
the following address:

5. Application prospects per post

If you do not have the possibilities to fill and print out the application form
computer based you can receive the application prospect per post mail.

Reply to this mail as follows:

- in the Subject field: Post
- in the message text: your Name, complete address, interested course of
studies

Please take note that the processing of requests is very time-consuming.
You could get it with a delay up to two weeks exclusive time for delivery.


6. Status of your application

If you already send in your application you will get an answering letter in any
case.
Requests concerning your status can not be replied to because of the high
number.
The processing will be done about 6 weeks after deadline.

这个信是群发的，附件是一个表格。要求好像是把表格填好然后附加上证书一起邮寄，中国人还需要APS证书，可是我是申请博士啊，申请博士的APS和一般APS不一样，是需要教授的offer的。这个回信没有把申请博士和申请其他学位区别开来似的。
我理解的对吧？如果按照他信上要求的申请，希望大吗？？

好像博士是不要的。你最好再问问外办的人。

或者在www.tu-dresden.de/china上发帖 ... �可能会知道。

我差不多也是这样, 信是这样回的

thank you for your interest in our programme and the University of
Kaiserslautern. Please find attached our new information and
application
package for the 2008 PhD programme "Mathematics in Industry and
Commerce" (MIC).

The package contains valuable information about our programme, the
admission criteria, and will give you a glimpse of what life is like in

Kaiserslautern.

The PhD programme starts with a mandatory integration course during the

months of August and September, where you will learn German and also
the
way of studying in Germany and get adjusted to that. You will have the
opportunity to get adjusted to your new surrounding, find your way
around, learn something about Germany and Kaiserslautern, meet fellow
students and make new friends.

The application deadline for the PhD programme is January 31, 2008. If
you do not receive your final certificate before the deadline, please
let us know in advance.

估计是申请的人太多吧，然后他们把教授转发给他们的信就打包一起发出来了吧
我觉得具体的还得和教授联系
不过还先把上面提供的信息都翻翻，然后再找教授
