I have received one letter and another one was announced but not sent.

It is important that one gets to know each other - for you and for us. Let me thus porpose that we invite you to come to xx university and work for 3 months with us. At the end of this period we then take a decision to go for a specific PhD project or not.

If this is of interest to you, let me know. We then have to work something out for financing.

本人国内硕士今年6月份毕业 和对方也就邮件上有往来的联系，连电话也没联系过。那边做的方向算是有点相关。毕竟离毕业还三个月，可以提前对那个research做一定的了解。但是本人英语比较烂，

work for 3 months 试用期 靠谱吗？被打回来是不是也属于很正常的事情？德国经常有这种情况嘛？ 本人英语不是很强，这三个月过去的风险是不是很大？ 第二段最后一句话意思是他手头上已经有这个项目还是到时候再帮我申请的？
这封信该如何回复呢？我目前该做的是哪些呢？ 望大侠指点
