老板的回信，请大家参谋
老板说：Your expertise and interests would seem to be well compatible with the research carried out in my laboratory. However, the future plans of my current research personnel as well as the level of my future funding are currently somewhat open. Therefore, I am hesitant to promise anything regarding Fall 2008 at this point, but would be happy to continue this dialogue, and consider your application more carefully. Perhaps we could arrange a phone or an internet call to discuss this matter in more detail

:huaixiao: 感觉很多回信必不可少的关键词是 funding 或者 financial support
感觉还是挺有戏的，既然他都愿意跟你进一步联系了
当然我也不知道接下来该怎么办，我也是正在申请中

他是对自己的下一步情况不确定，包括是否能拿到科研经费，也对你的个人情况缺少了解。但他感觉你的基础与他的方向一致，他仍然对好学生感兴趣。所以你需要多动动脑子，看看哪里有奖学金。如果你有办法在他的支持下，拿到其他机构的奖学金，比如DAAD，比如某些基金会的钱，或者国家留学基金委上面列出来的公派奖学金，那你就能有很大的把握了。 :huachi:
