The University of Konstanz reserves five percent of all available admissions (at least one admission) for cases of exceptional hardship in undergraduate or master's programmes with restricted admission (Numerus Clausus) . To be considered a hardship case, applicants must have such convincing pressing health, social and family reasons that, even in consideration of strict criteria, it would be unreasonable for such an applicant to have to wait even one semester for admission. A particularly exceptional circumstance must be demonstrated in order to make immediate study absolutely necessary. If you would like to submit a hardship application, please select the appropriate study programme.
