For studying the Master's degree program in Mechanical Eng. you need at least a proof of B2 in German language for your application by July, 15th, for winter intake, or January, 15th, for summer intake. The application portal Campo is expected to be open from November and May, respectively.

thank you very much for your interest in studying at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB).
The master degree program in Mechanical Engineering is taught in German Language, therefore you need sufficient German knowledge for an application.
The German language skills can be proven only by one of the following examinations:
- DSH examination (level 2 or 3)
- TestDaF with the grades 4 x 4 or 16 points
- telc C1 Hochschule
As soon as you fulfill the language requirements you can apply online for our master programme in mechanical engineering (M.Sc.). The next possible application period start in December 2017 and runs till 15th July 2018. (see attached information about the application)
