第五届法兰克福灯光双年展将在2010年4月11日至16日举行。同期进行的还有LIGHT+BUILDING展会。 超过150项的灯光活动已经在筹备之中。艺术家、设计师、表演、VJ和DJ、建筑师以及工程师接受了来自LUMINAL的邀请，将于展览期间把博物馆、画廊、工厂、建筑、纪念碑、广场还有公园转化成一个系列的国际灯光实验室。

● The light+media installation in the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History, in the immediate vicinity of the trade fair grounds.

● the "Luces" exhibition - Light Art from Italy in the Archaeological Museum.

● the illumination of the main Frankfurt railway station.

● in the Wallanlagen, Medieval city wall parks: the "Hive" project near the Alte Oper concert hall and "Light Sketches" near the Literaturhaus.

● and in the center of town:"Light.Anamorphoses" at the Hauptwache, the PlusEnergieHaus at Rathenauplatz and the Pavillon by designer Mario Nanni at Rossmarkt

● the interactive light installation "Heavy-Medium-Light" by Kehres Hungerer at the Kunstverein Familie Montez art gallery.

● Early works by James Turrell can be seen in the Karmeliter cloiters.
