Focus Ranking: University of Mannheim is the best in Business Administration and Economics

The University of Mannheim was and remains the leading German university in Business Administration and Economics. This is the conclusion of the news magazine Focus in a ranking published in its current issue, allowing both the School of Business and the School of Economics to successfully defend their top titles.
The Focus ranking is one of the most comprehensive in Germany for universities. It evaluates research and teaching quality: In research, it assesses the reputation of the professors, the professor-to-doctoral student ratio, and the number of times a faculty member has been quoted in important international journals. In teaching, the ranking considers the appraisals of academics and HR directors as well as the professor-to-student ratio.
The findings confirm the results of 2005, when Focus identified Mannheim's Business Administration and Economics programs as the clear front-runners. In addition, in March 2007, Mannheim University's Business School was elected as the uncontested leader for the sixth year in a row by the ranking of the business magazine Wirtschaftswoche.
